Above, Zazu and Nala, Zazu telling Nala of his duties as Royal Councelor. Nala's around 8-9 here, like Simba in the previous pic.
Bellow, Nala and Simba, and how Simba asked Nala to be his Councelor. They were... around four years old there. =O And yes, they still have baby fat! I need to practice drawing kids.
And then bottom right is Zazu, outraged that Simba chose so carelessly. Of course, that was to be expected when you ask such a young kid to pick his most-trusted man.
And to be fair, Mufasa only picked Zazu because he was a bird with pwetty colors. So shhhhhh!
Zazu's not black because... well. His character didn't strike me as such.
